INGREDIENTS:
1 frozen banana
150ml almond milk
1 large or 2 small passion fruit (or 100g frozen pineapple)
10cm cucumber
1 handful kale
- 1 tbsp baobab
1 heaped tbsp hemp seeds
2 tbsp gluten free oats (optional)
METHOD:
- Blend all the ingredients together until smooth
- Pour into a glass and sprinkle over more hemp seeds
I love tropical cocktail tasting smoothies this summer so this baobab and hemp smoothie is perfect. Baobab has a sweet, tart flavour similar to a passion fruit so combining the two ingredients enhances the tropical flavour! I love adding oats to smoothies, especially when I’m tired, for a boost of slow release energy in the morning.
