INGREDIENTS:

1 handful kale

1 banana

100ml almond milk

1 tbsp smooth peanut butter

2 leaves romaine lettuce

½ lime juice

10cm cucumber

1 tsp supergreen powder (optional)

METHOD:

Throw it all in a blender and serve in a glass with a slice of lime on the side!

I always used to add peanut butter to my green smoothies when I first started drinking them until I got used to the flavour and I forgot how nice it can taste! I haven’t added it for so long so decided to use it in this kale and lime smoothie, it sounds like a strange combination but it’s so good I can’t recommend it enough! It’s also a great nutritional boost! You can use any lettuce leaves in this smoothie, I’ve also tried it using gem and iceberg lettuce.
