INGREDIENTS:
1 frozen banana
1 handful kale
150ml almond milk
1 heaped tbsp peanut butter
75g strawberries
7g supergreen powder (a heaped tsp)
10cm cucumber
METHOD:
- Blend everything together, except the strawberries, until smooth
- Add the strawberries to the blender and pulse until the strawberries are almost completely broken down, this leaves little specs of red through the green smoothie
Green smoothies are one of my favourite breakfasts, they taste so clean and healthy and there are so many different flavour combinations! You can pretty throw any superfoods, nut butters and leftover fruit and veg in them like I have with the kale, peanut butter and strawberry smoothie. I added more supergreen powder to this one than I usually do so decided to add a few leftover strawberries for a bit more sweetness.
