Matcha Nicecream
INGREDIENTS:
2 frozen bananas
10cm cucumber
Small handful of kale
1 tsp matcha powder
½ tsp supergreen powder
150-200ml cold water or unsweetened almond milk
Optional toppings:
1 kiwi
1 passion fruit
1 tbsp hemp seeds
METHOD:
- Combine everything except the toppings in a blender until smooth and eat before it melts!
- Let the bananas defrost a bit first if your blender can’t cope with large amounts of frozen fruit
This matcha nicecream recipe is great for hot summer days especially when topped with kiwi and passion fruit, it tastes so tropical! I love green smoothies and making ice cream from frozen bananas so I decided to combine them. Adding the matcha powder is a great energy boosting alternative to drinking coffee, great for busy weekends!
