My Supergreen Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

1 frozen banana

150ml unsweetened almond milk

1 handful of spinach

15cm cucumber

1 heaped tbsp hemp seeds

1 tsp supergreens powder

½ tsp matcha powder

METHOD:

  • Chop the banana and freeze for at least an hour or overnight
  • Remove the banana from the freeze 5-10mins before using
  • Put everything into a blender and blend until completely smooth

My Supergreen Smoothie

My supergreen smoothie is my favourite green smoothie as it doesn’t taste too sweet so is perfect for a hangover (especially the matcha) or after over-indulging on too many sweet treats! I like the addition of the frozen banana and it gives you a quick ice-cold thick smoothie. You can buy so many different combined supergreen powders now or alternatively use individual powders such as wheatgrass, spirulina or chlorella.
