I love trying out new gluten free products as they have come so far since I was first diagnosed as Coeliac. So I couldn’t turn down an offer to try these new bagels from Schar! They are my favourite gluten free brand who keep coming out with amazing products and I am so impressed with these soft and flavoursome bagels. I’ve tried them with sweet and savoury toppings and they are delicious with both!
Are you a sweet or savoury breakfast person? I choose sweet every time! Especially when chocolate is involved, and we all need to treat ourselves sometimes, especially at Christmas. I know I’ll definitely be having something chocolatey and indulgent for my Christmas Day breakfast! What’s your go to Christmas breakfast?
I topped mine with homemade peanut butter chocolate spread & fresh fruit. To make the chocolate spread I made my own peanut butter by placing peanuts in my high speed blender until smooth and creamy. Then I simply melted 100g of dark chocolate, allowed it to cool then stirred it through the peanut butter along with 1tsp vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. You can always add a little maple syrup for a sweeter spread.
