Strawberry vanilla smoothie bowl

INGREDIENTS:

1 scoop vanilla vegan protein powder (25g)

200ml unsweetened almond milk

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

1 frozen banana

1 tsp maca powder

1 tbsp peanut butter

Any toppings of your choice

METHOD:

  • Place all the smoothie ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
  • Pour into a bowl and sprinkle over the toppings (i like granola and frozen blueberries)

Strawberry and vanilla protein smoothie bowl! Sometimes a smoothie isn’t enough and that is where smoothie bowls come in, you can top them with anything including homemade granola, fresh fruit and more peanut butter. This smoothie tastes like strawberries and cream thanks to the addition of the vanilla protein powder and tastes more like a dessert, making it feel a bit too naughty to be a breakfast! If you do prefer a simple smoothie in a glass it still tastes great!
