Blueberry Tahini Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

150ml almond milk

1 banana

1 cup frozen blueberries

15cm cucumber

1 tbsp tahini

2 tsp maca powder

1 scoops vanilla protein powder (optional)

½ tbsp cacao nibs

METHOD:

  • Add all the ingredients except the cacao nibs in a blender and blend until completely combined
  • Pour into a glass and top with the cacao nibs

Blueberry Tahini Smoothie! Blueberries are probably my favourite berries, they are sweet but not overpowering so perfect in a smoothie like this. I normally use tahini in savoury recipes but decided to try it in a smoothie instead of peanut butter and it really tastes amazing! The protein powder is an optional addition, I always add it to my smoothies on days where I plan on doing more exercise and want to boost my protein intake.
